Hotels and train stations make natural partners, but the Union Station Hotel is actually a hotel in a converted 19th-century train station. Forget cookie cutter, with a layout that incorporates the station’s original design, none of the 125 rooms or suites are exactly the same, melding quirky with luxury (100-year-old Tiffany-style stained-glass in the lobby and 650-foot barrel-vaulted ceilings.
